 June 2, 2009 - Tryon Summer Classic 2009 Wrap Up
We have just wrapped up the 2009 Tryon Summer Classic. The event was held May 28-31 at FENCE (Foothills Equestrian Nature Center) in Tryon, NC. The highlight of the event was the $10,000 Mini Prix that took place Saturday evening. Winner of last years Mini Prix, Daniel Geitner of Aiken, SC, was victorious again this time on Kyle Register's Trading Places. Geitner won last year's class on Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bostwick's Sympa. Thank you to the Farmhouse for donating the beautiful Crystal Trophy for Saturdays winner.

Along with all of the action in the show ring, exhibitors and spectators were also treated to happy hour both Friday and Saturday evenings at the "Triple Bar". A pizza party was held Friday evening and an exhibitors party Saturday along with the Mini Prix.
