         
    Equus Events, Inc. is a horse show production and management company run by J.P. and Megan Godard whose main purpose is to create and run exhibitor friendly horse shows which also excel in the highest level of quality and competition. Based in the beautiful equestrian town of Aiken, SC, we offer something for everyone, from the cross rail level to the grand prix jumpers! J.P. began his career in the hunter jumper horse show world early in life when he worked at the old Aiken, SC Ramblewood horse shows with his dad. J.P. rode and showed in the pony divisions at first, but found that the management side of the horse show world suited him best. J.P. has excelled as a course designer in the hunter and jumper divisions, and has designed courses at prestigious shows such as the National Horse Show in New York, the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida, and at the Harrisburg National Horse Show. Megan has been involved in the horse world all of her life. Originally from Germantown, TN, she grew up riding in the Jr. ranks with Phoebe Sheets. Megan turned pro at 18 and worked for professionals such as Kim and Dennis Mitchell and Phoebe Sheets. She then settled back down in Germantown to work for David Pellegrini’s Spring Mill Farm in Eads, TN. During her four years at Spring Mill, Megan got engaged to J.P. who lived in Aiken, SC. The rest is history. Megan moved to Aiken when they got married and is currently a realtor with Meybohm Realtors as well as helping J.P. with the horse show business.
