The start of the 2019 Aiken Fall Festival will be delayed by a day and is now scheduled to start on Friday, September 6th. The 11 AM update from the National Hurricane Center was favorable. Dorian is projected to be north of Aiken on Thursday and is not likely to affect inland portions of South Carolina.
While the current forecast is encouraging, we still feel the delay is needed to be certain Dorian does not change her course. For our competitors south and east of us seeking refuge, you are welcome to arrive at any time. Our staff will be on hand for your needs and riding areas with jumps will be available. Also, Aiken Saddlery will still host their Welcome Party at 3 PM on Wednesday, so we hope you can join us.
We will continue to closely monitor Dorian and will immediately post any changes to our website and social media. The updated schedule for the Aiken Fall Festival I will be available Wednesday morning.
